In simple revision, there is an emergency stop button, which is built according to EN 81 standards. Simple revision has basic features such as movement keys, normal mode key, revision mode, run, rotary, and siren keys. 
The simple revision is used shorter buildings with fewer stops. 

Car Codec revision box

Car Codec revision box is mostly used in tall buildings, and they are designed in a way that they do not require long elevator cable traction (for tall buildings). This is one of the main advantages of the Car Codec revision box over simple type. Other Car Codec revision box features are the same as the simple type, and only a Car Codec board is added to it. 
In this type, the signal-transferring cables are reduced and only an elevator travel cable is placed between the Car Codec revision box and the command panel. Serial terminals are used to make the command panel support this type of box.
